Operating conditions for the orange zone, which, in accordance with the Ordinance regulating and imposing penalties for regulated and controlled on-street parking in Albacete, published in the BOP No. 74 of 29 June 2026
Parking spaces located at Albarderos nos. 20, 4 and 6, 9 and opposite no. 2; Caba nos. 20, 19, opposite nos. 7, 9 and 11 and opposite no. 23; Carnicerías Nos. 11 and 8, 10, 12 and 14; and Plaza Mayor (5 spaces), are reserved exclusively for lorries, vans and mixed-use vehicles carrying out loading and unloading operations and are identified by vertical signage and orange zigzag road markings.

FEES
Free of charge but a ticket is compulsory: parking is free, but you must obtain a zero-euro ticket from a parking meter or via the online services provided by the City Council, ensuring you enter your vehicle’s registration number correctly.
PLACING THE TICKET
If you are issued with a paper ticket, it must be displayed on the dashboard so that the registration number and the start and end times are clearly visible from the outside.
DURATION
Parking is only permitted for the time required to carry out the transaction, up to a maximum of 60 minutes. Once this period has elapsed, the by-law allows for a further 60-minute extension, provided that loading and unloading operations are still taking place.
As regards the penalty system, parking without being an authorised vehicle or without obtaining a ticket is punishable by a fine of 100 euros, whilst exceeding the maximum permitted time is punishable by a fine of 80 euros.
Please also note that these fines cannot be cancelled and that the by-law provides for the vehicle to be towed away 30 minutes after a fine has been issued for parking in an orange zone without obtaining a ticket.
